Wix: stop your emails going to spam

Three records, in this order. Each step links to Wix's own instructions. Re-run the check and test email when you're done.

1. SPF

Add (or edit) the TXT record on your domain's root name:

(depends on your mailbox provider; Wix sells Google Workspace mailboxes, so usually v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all)

Only one SPF record per domain. If other tools also send for you (a CRM, a newsletter service), build the combined record rather than adding a second one.

2. DKIM

  1. Wix site forms and Wix Email Marketing send from Wix's servers, not from your mailbox, so your own DKIM doesn't apply to them. To send marketing emails from your domain, authenticate it in Wix: Marketing & SEO → Email Marketing → Settings → Email domain authentication, and add the records Wix shows.
  2. For your mailbox (Google Workspace bought through Wix), follow the Google Workspace guide: the Admin console is the same.
  3. If your DNS is managed by Wix, add the TXT and CNAME records under Domains → your domain → Advanced → Edit DNS.

3. DMARC

Add a TXT record named _dmarc with this starter value, replacing the address with one you read:

v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@yourdomain.com

p=none only monitors. After a few weeks of clean reports, change it to p=quarantine, then p=reject.

4. Test it
